TELEVISION AND RADIO ACCREDITATION

Applications from television and international radio broadcasters should be directed to WRC Promoter. Applicants wishing to apply for accreditation for their home round of the Championship should contact the National Accreditation Officer of the event.

We kindly ask you to carefully read and accept the following conditions and policies before applying for accreditation. Accreditation will only be granted for professionals that meet the accreditation criteria of WRC Promoter GmbH. WRC Promoter GmbH will review all information submitted by qualified applicants. Please note that there might be additional information requested during the qualification process. This may also include the submission of work examples.

Please note that these guidelines are only valid for TV and radio broadcasters, and any electronic media wishing to broadcast moving images. All requests from publications, agencies and websites must be made here.

Accreditation requests have to be sent to accreditation@wrc.com and have to be submitted at the latest three weeks before the start of each event.  Please note that accreditations will only be considered for professional organisations with a relevant audience that regularly cover WRC or Motorsport events.

If approved, there may be a charge for radio and/or video licenses, or for other additional licenses. Please note that in no circumstance we will be able to grant stage access. If you wish to obtain footage from WRC events, please visit the WRC newsroom.

Applicants must be covered with third party liability insurance and may be asked to provide evidence of their insurance. In addition, it is mandatory to watch our Rally Media Safety Video before attending one of our events. The video can be found below. Please note that there might be additional safety measures required (e.g. Media Safety briefing).

If you are an existing WRC rights holder and wish to attend an event, please contact: broadcasting@wrc.com. Please also contact broadcasting@wrc.com for any other footage/content licensing requests.
